Is it Discrimination?

Discrimination may not always be obvious and it may be clouded by cultural or social differences. What is discriminatory and what is culture or "just business"? Throughout the semester I will explore a variety of different types of discrimination as they could happen in an academic library. Many of these same issues may also take place in any type of library, but I will focus on them in the context of academia and students. While my obvious audience is my fellow library students and instructor, this is a publicaly available blog, so I am aware that others could also be readers. Wouldn't that be fun?!
